In Singapore, overstaying is a criminal offense. You can request an extension electronically via the e-Service or travel to the Visitor Services Centre on Level 4 of the ICA Building before your Visit Permit expires if you intend to remain longer.
Overstaying in Singapore for more than 90 days can result in a penalty of up to $4,000 or a prison sentence of up to 6 months. If you spend longer than 90 days, you might face 6 months in prison and 3 cane strokes (or a $6,000 fine if you can't be beaten up).
If your illegal stay does not surpass 90 days, you could face a fine of up to $4,000 or a jail sentence of up to 6 months for not having permission or pass. If it lasts longer than 90 days, you could face at least 3 cane lashes (or a fine of up to $6,000 if you can't be beaten up) and up to 6 months in prison.
Due to the privacy of details, ICA usually does not publish the reason for denial; however, after issuing many Singapore visas for numerous Indians, we have compiled a list of reasons below.

This is, without a doubt, Singapore's most famous tourist destination. The variety of flora on the show and the inventive ways in which they are exhibited are breathtaking. The Cloud Forest, located in one section of the conservatory, is designed to resemble the cool-moist ecosystem of the tropical highlands. It contains a treetop promenade and a 114-foot indoor waterfall that is frequently captured.
National Gallery Singapore is the biggest public archive of modern art in Southeast Asia, with over 9,000 works. It's set between two stunning national landmarks: City Hall and the previous Supreme Court of the United States. Some tourists spend a half-day (or more) walking through the museum's numerous galleries. Consider going on a weekday and purchasing your early tickets electronically to avoid line-ups.
Do you consider yourself a hipster? Or maybe you're a committed Muslim. Do you like avant-garde contemporary art or ancient Arab handicrafts? Do you only want to take a picture for Instagram, or do you want to understand more about this historic neighborhood, from its red-light past to its religious significance? Or maybe you want a piece of the legendary Rich & Good Cake Shop's delectable kaya swiss roll? This charmingly unique community would be for you if you responded yes to these questions. The Muslim sector of Singapore goes back to the 1800s, although it has developed and altered over time, integrating religious and cultural elements with a contemporary perspective on the city-state.
It may seem strange to advise passengers to spend time in an airport, but Jewel Changi is no normal airport (it consistently ranks first in our Readers' Choice Awards best airport list). The transportation hub also includes a Moshe Safdie-designed shopping, dining, and amusement complex with a natural theme. The Rain Vortex, a seven-story-tall interior waterfall; an indoor forest with hanging walkways; and approximately 300 stores are among the project's features. For visitors on layovers, this is a game-changer. Because it's so famous (and so worthwhile), 20 airlines will allow you to check in a total 24 hours ahead of time merely to make the most of your time indoors.
The Intan is a personal residence that holds one of Singapore's most significant Peranakan antique exhibits. Alvin Yapp, the shop's owner, has spent more than 30 years gathering 1,500 Peranakan artifacts, including kasut manek (ornate beaded slippers worn by Straits Chinese women) and beautiful floral-patterned enamel tiffin carriers. Yapp's postwar home is a work of love, as evidenced by the care he has meticulously organized every tiny piece of it. Appointments are required for all trips.
The granite quarries on this island were initially well-known. Folks began to leave as they closed their doors in the 1970s, and jobs diminished. Currently, the island is home to less than 50 inhabitants who have opted to remain to maintain the old way of life. That is also why people like to go there. Arriving in Pulau Ubin is like stepping back in time to how Singapore used to be decades ago. Even coming, there is a trip back: from Changi Point Ferry Terminal, you take a 10-minute voyage on a chugging bumboat. Even for those with limited funds, this is a worthwhile adventure, and it's the ideal day excursion for those interested in seeing a distinct era of Singapore's past or experiencing its crazy side.
The 28-foot Merlion statue, a half-fish, half-lion rock sculpture that sprays water into Marina Bay, can be found on this promenade facing Marina Bay. The fish represents Singapore's origins as a fishing town, while the lion head refers to Singapura, which is Malay for "Lion City." It was built in 1972 and is now one of the most famous tourist sites in the country, so prepare ahead.
To obtain a work visa, you must have an offer of employment from a Singapore-based firm, and your position must be management, executive, or specialized. You must also generate a minimum of $ 3,900 each month. A private limited firm established with ACRA might also help you obtain a work visa.
Unfortunately, it isn't.
